Monitor information management during the upcoming lead PI transition (don’t lose ground)

Description of issue:
This is especially relevant during the upcoming data manger transition. We have made a list of priority tasks for the new information manager to focus on during his or her first six months.

Proposed Action:
Set monitoring mechanism: benchmarks and milestones, a project management site and documenting (logs) of actions, practices and plans

Description of proposed action:
This action would need some consensus between all the IM team and some in the management team, delineate expectations, monitor them, etc. Use some project management software and some instrument to document weekly, daily or as-needed basis are all healthy practices.
